About Us

Funkaar Studios is the largest A.R.E. program in the nation. In the last 6-years, the program has educated over 10,000 candidates in over 18 cities. Extensive and ongoing research on the A.R.E. allows us to have superior knowledge of the exam as a whole. We continually maintain a library of A.R.E. focused books which include NCARB reference books, building codes and exam preparation textbooks. Our teaching method is approved and requested by several AIA-Chapters.

Funkaar Studios, Inc. provides professional training courses for:

• Architect Registration Exam
• California Suplemental Exam
• Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED Green Associate and AP)

Our courses are typically held at University campuses nationally to offer 'traveling' courses. We welcome partnerships with local AIA, NOMA and AIAS chapters. Our instructors are certified professionals and college level faculty members to provide the most accurate and organized classes.

Courses are offered on a quarterly term basis (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). We can also bring courses to your office. Contact us to customize a course for your firm.

Classes are typically held on college campuses throughout the US. Periodically, we hold classes in partnership with local AIA-chapters at private offices. Each classroom is equipped with tables to hold student laptops for workshops. Power cords are provided through the rooms for easily plug-in access at each table.

Instruction is projected on a screen to allow note taking on the content presented. Audio taping is not permitted in class.
