READY FAST Course is a fast paced 5-day course
designed for students interested in attending a quick comprehensive
course before beginning A.R.E. testing process. This
course is also ideal for students who are traveling from out
of town. Lecture
covers key ARE content and answering strategies. Students will
be provided a Study Methodology with Syllabus, exam breakdown,
daily study routine and a recommended timeline to take
ONE exam per week for students who are interested in the
challenge.
Unlike
other seminar style classes, ARE READY FAST Course is a cohesive
college-level type course taught by a single instructor who
has passed the 2006 ARE 3.1 Exam. The A.R.E. is
comprised of (9) exams. Each day covers (2) exams. **General
Structures Lateral Forces, Materials and Mechanical sessions
are shorter in length in comparison to the standard Ready
Course.
Please
note that you need to bring a PC laptop to class where
indicated. You must download NCARB software and ensure
its functional prior to class arrival. (Mac with parallel
windows can work for NCARB
software) Its common
to experience slow program start and initial installation
glitches. A laptop is recommended for effective learning.
If you donot own a laptop, try borrowing one from work,
family or friend. Please bring trace, architectural scale
and pencil if you donot bring a laptop. |
