| About Us |
A.R.E. READY FAST COURSE
is an intense fast paced weekend course designed
for students interested in attending a quick comprehensive course before
beginning A.R.E. testing process. Typically taught over consecutive days or 3 consecutive weekends. Some sessions are condensed in length in comparison to the standard
Ready Course but students are provided a full syllabus to take home. Lecture
covers key ARE content and answering strategies. Lectures are note intensive, as a student you will actively takes notes like a traditional classroom environment. With this method, students can walk away with quantifiable education within a set of lecture notes based around a series of line items covering key ARE content. Graphic vignette are taught as a workshop where students actively draw on the computer based on a set routine specific to each vignette. Students are provided
a Study Methodology with Syllabus, exam breakdown, daily study routine, mock exam questions and a recommended
timeline for testing over 3-months following the course.This
course is ideal if you are:
Repeat ARE candidate?
Traveling from out of town?
Unlike
other seminar style classes,
ARE READY Course is a
cohesive college-level
type course taught by
a single instructor who
has passed the entire computerized ARE.
CDS, PPP, SPD, SD, BD and BDCS are covered as a one class day each. SS is covered over multiple days or parts.
Please note that you need to bring a PC laptop
to class where indicated (Mac with parallel windows can work
with NCARB Practice Programs). If you experience glitches, try adjusting your screen display setting or reinstall program. A laptop is recommended for effective
learning. If you do not own a laptop, try borrowing one from
work, family or friend. It is your responsibility to ensure the software is operational prior to arriving to class, the instructor or TA cannot take class time to provide technical assistance to individual students. Please bring trace, architectural scale
and pencil if you donot bring a laptop. |

Basic Scientific Calculator (TI30XA or equal functions for all sessions)
Paypal registration slip as PROOF OF REGISTRATION to all sessions
Identification (such as driver's license to all sessions)
Laptop with NCARB software downloaded and functional for Graphic sessions
(The instructor or TA are not able to provide technical assistance in class.
Please note that 4.0 versions of NCARB software will be used)
Mouse and laptop power cord for Graphic sessions

Division 2: PPP March 27,, 2010 (1-2week study)
Division 3: SPD April 3, 2010 (1-week study)
Division 4: SD April 10, 2010 (1-week study)
Division 5: SS May 1, 2010 (3-week study)
Division 6: BS May 15, 2010 (2-week study)
Division 7: BDCS May 29, 2010 (2-week study)

(8) consecutive days. Most class days begin with a comprehesive lecture and end with a workshop to cover the graphic vignette where students actively drawing on their laptop.
