In California you can receive authorization to start testing with (5) years education or work or combination of both. Link page 3 + 13 for details: http://www.cab.ca.gov/pdf /handbk_2004.pdf If I pass the ARE what would be other requirements to get the license? If you start testing now, you need IDP + CIDP + California Supplemental. If you started testing before 2005, you need California Supplemental exam + total of (8) year education and/or work experience Would it be valid let's say for another 3 years when I get enough experience to be licensed?
California has implemented the 5-year rolling
clock. Your exam score is valid for good if you complete all (9) exams within
a 5-year period. If you only pass a portion of the (9) exams, you will have
to retake these portions if you have not completed all (9) exams within 5-years.
ARE 3.1 expires July 2009, you must complete it by this time.
