DIRECTIONS TO OBTAIN FREE ONLINE MOCK
These are our policies. If you donot agree with, dislike or cannot comply with these policies, please donot register for class. Violation of these policies may result in being dropped from the course. Policies are subject to change without notice. As we are committed to education, we are glad to recommend some alternative study options.
All policy administration issues are processed through Funkaar Studios, Inc headquarters in Sacramento, California. All policy related requests should be emailed to funkaarstudios@gmail.com

Registration | | |
- ALL registration
are done on-line. Exception apply to international
students and on a case-by-case basis. Checks are accepted
for Corporate and AIA On-sites.
- Your paypal payment receipt is proof of your registration, please bring this to each class
- You must provide full payment prior to attending any Funkaar classes. Partial payment or promise to pay is not acceptable.
- Course registrations include in-class instruction and handouts ONLY.
- Course registrations do not include out of class services including but not limited to: instructor mentoring, response to emails, private tutoring, online mock exams, document download, duplicate handouts, vignette grading, textbooks, or any other requests for services out-of-class.
- ALL requests for special discounts or rebates must be approved prior to payment and registration.
- If you somehow attend a class without payment, you will be invoiced for the class.
- $25 per month late fee will be accrued for each month of payment delay after class date.
- Receiving handouts requires full class payment.
- Early departure or partial class attendance requires full class payment..
- Pre-registration on-line
is required. Please DONOT show
up to class without a registration, there maynot be a
seat or handout for you, you may also be asked to leave.
- 'Sitting In' or auditing qualifies as class attendance and requires full payment for each attendee.
- Students are granted one seat in each registered class. Family members or companions or pets are not permitted in class.
- If you have an outstanding balance with us for previous claims, new or future registration funds will be applied towards this outstanding balance. Remainder will be available to use toward the future registrations.

Proof of Payment |
|
|
- A Paypal payment receipt is emailed to the address you provide at time of registration. This is your ONLY proof of payment.
- If you didn't receive one, its likely you didn't complete the registration process. It is the your responsibility to carry this to each class. Arriving without a receipt disrupts class, as we have to take class time to resolve your registration.
- If you come to class without proof of payment, you may be asked to leave or make a cash payment. Any signs of anger/attitude/improper conduct (such as slamming cash down on the table) will result in dismissal from classes indefinetly.
- If you believe you have paid but have no proof of payment, we may ask you to pay in class if we cannot locate your registration. Duplicate registrations are always refunded as we are a fair company.
- Funkaar doesnot accept walk-ins as most of our classes are full, it can disrupt/delay lecture and instructors do not administer registration...they teach! Thank you for complying.

Transfer Policy |
|
|
- You
can transfer your registration funds to be applied towards a future course. Please notify us by email for transfer.
- You must confirm your transfer 30days prior to first class date of intended term.
- Our response email will serve as transfer confirmation. Please bring this to class with you.
- To be eligible for a transfer you must notify
us 14 days prior to session date.
- For multipart sessions, requests must be made 14 days prior to Part 1.
- Partial transfer for part of class or multipart sessions is not permitted.
- Transfered registrations are not eligible for a refund.
- ALL transfers expire after one year from original registration date.
- LEED and CSE Ready course registration are allowed unlimited transfer of funds upto one year from original registration date.
- ARE Ready or Ready Fast course registrations are allowed one transfer of funds upto one year from original registration date.
- You must notify us by email if you are transfering your registration to another person.
- If you choose to transfer, you have to accommodate our course location and schedule. ("I thought you were going to offer it again next term"...is not a valid excuse for missing a transfer)
- If we are not offering a
future course in your area, you must attend a course in
another location.
- It is your responsibility to look up schedule and times on our website for transfered sessions
- For accuracy purposes, we donot quote schedules on email or phone.
- Obtaining handouts for
transfered courses will forfeit your transfer.
- You cannot request a transfer for a multipart session after attendance of single parts (ie Part 1 attended or missed doesnot qualify for transfer of Part 2)
- All transfers are limited by seat availability. Transfer is not allowed into a full session.
- All transfers expire in one year from original registration date.

General Refund Policy |
|
|
- ALL registration cancelation are subject to a $95 cancellation fee.
- ARE Full course or more than 5 divisions is subject to $400 cancellation fee.
- ALL registration cancelation requests
must be made 14 days prior to session
and within 60 days of
initial registration date as listed on Paypal receipt.
- For multipart sessions, requests must be made 14 days prior to Part 1.
- If you cannot attend class due to a last minute emergency, you must provide a proof of emergency (such as a doctor's note, accident report, flight delay report with boarding pass) in order to transfer to a future session. Proof of emergency must be provided one week from scheduled class.
- There is no refund due to a last minute emergency.
- If you are dissatisfied
with the course, you must return all handouts and checkout
with the TA within the first 20mins of the scheduled
session time in order to request refund.
- You will be barred from future registration of our courses for refund requests due to course
dissatisfaction
- Continous requests for free classes or discounts can lead to being barred from class.
- You cannot request a refund for a session on or after the session date.
- You cannot request a refund for session date after attendance.
- You cannot request a refund for a multipart session after attendance of single parts (ie Part 1 attended or missed doesnot qualify for refund of Part 2)
- You cannot request a refund or transfer due to early departure from class.
- You cannot request a refund or transfer after receiving handouts.
- Your signature of attendance confirms receipt of handouts.
- Tutoring sessions are
non-refundable and subject to $95 reschedule fee.

A.R.E. Ready Course Specific Policy
(all other policies also apply) |
|
|
- To qualify for a full course discount, registration for remaining sessions must be processed within the first week of course. Incremental registrations for individual sessions throughout the course do not qualify for full course discount.
- If you are registered for entire course or more than 5 ARE divisions,
you will be charged for each class attended + $400 cancellation
fee. The remaining will be refunded.
- If you are registered for 1 to 4 ARE divisions, you will be charged for each class attended + $95 cancelation
fee. The remaining will be refunded.

On-Site Classes Specific Policy
(all other policies also apply) |
|
|
- All payments should be received by designated date on the invoice in order to secure reservation for classes taught in your office.
- ALL requests for discounts and rebates must be received and approved prior to class scheduling, payment and registration.
- Adequate facilities are required for good learning environment. This includes: conference or class room with tables and chairs. If you do not have adequate facilities, we can locate/reserve one close to your office.
- Continuous requests for free student entry or discounts is subject to class dismissal without a refund.
- Additional students present on day of class must be paid for in full prior to start of class.
- Class will be dismissed without a refund with refusal to pay for additional students prior to class.
- Last minute cancellations are not permitted and forfeit class payment without rescheduling option.
- Onsites are non-refundable. But are transferable to a later date with 2-week notice prior to scheduled class date.
- ALL attendees are expected to be familiar with our Policies. No refunds are provided if class is dismissed by the instructor due to Funkaar General Policies violation by an attendee.

Class Cancellation Policy |
|
|
- Funkaar Studios holds
the right to cancel or reschedule any session due to
low registration, instructor emergency or act of nature.
- Students should provide
accurate email and cell phone number at time of registration
so you can be reached in the rare event of last minute
class delays.
- Students should check
email and website for course updates before departing
to attend each session.
- Students can request a
full refund/transfer of cancelled or rescheduled sessions free of any fees. You cannot request a refund for class dates already attended.
- Funkaar Studios is not responsible for personnel expenses (such as exam rescheduling) and scheduling conflicts or other personal issues caused by class cancellations. We can simply refund the cancelled class amount paid for that class day.
- If you make a personal
choice to travel long distances to attend our courses,
please note that Funkaar Studios is not responsible
for any costs of travel, hotel, etc for attending the
course. We can simply refund the cancelled class amount paid for that class day.
- For multi-part sessions where a single part is cancelled, you will be refunded pro-rated tuitions based on number of class hours cancelled (ie Part 1 attended and Part 2 cancelled means we would refund Part 2 ONLY not the previously attended session)

Vignette Grading Policy |
|
|
- Vignette Grading purchase is non-refundable.
- Vignettes are graded within 72hrs of submission. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Students can send one email with list of clarifications after initial instructor grading.
- Students can then resubmit the same vignette once within 2-weeks of original submission for final grading. No other resubmissions are permitted

Vignette Grading expires ONE year from registration date.
- Please email us your vignette at funkaarstudios@gmail.com with 'VIGNETTE REVIEW' in the subject line when submitting vignettes
- Submission are not permitted without a registration
- Vignettes will not be reviewed without a registration
- You can attach the file as a PDF or WORD document only. Image files are not accepted as they can be too large.
- You can save your vignette by taking a screen shot on PC or using GRAB on Mac then pasting or importing it into a WORD file.
- All graded vignettes are copyright of Funkaar Studios.
- Students may not post or distribute graded vignettes on public forums or other medium.

On-Line Mock Exams Policy |
|
|
- Online Mock Exam purchase is non-refundable.
- Each exam purchase permits (2) tries to take the exam with your TOKEN. Ensure you have a stable internet connection before starting an exam. You will NOT be granted more tries because of a lost internet connection.
- Make sure you alot time to complete an exam. You must complete an exam before viewing the answer key or grade. Each answer has a description. You cannot return to the exam after grading.
- After registration you will receive a LOGIN + TOKEN (7a-10p) after purchase. Usually you will recieve it right away. This will be your login access.
- Token will expire (2) weeks after first
trial. Second trial will
be forfeit after this
period. All Tokens expire one year
after date of purchase
if not used.

Handouts Policy |
|
|
- Handouts are only provided
at time of class for each class day only.
- Every registered student will receive only one copy of daily handout at time of each class.
- Your signature of attendance confirms receipt of handouts.
- Funkaar Studios can never email or
mail handouts for missed class days.
- If you have paid for full course or multiple classes held over multiple days, you are still only provided handouts at time of each class day.
- Funkaar Studios does not provide handouts at one time for the entire course or multiple classes. Handouts are provided on each class day.
- You must register and pay for full class in order to receive handout for that class only.
- Handouts cannot be purchased.
- Partial class payment for handouts only is not an option.
- You must return all handouts within the first 20 minutes of scheduled class time in order to request a refund due to dissatisfaction.
- You cannot request a refund if you retain handouts.
- Handouts are prepared
48hr prior to class. Although instructors carry extra
handouts, there is a small chance you maynot recieve
a handout if registering in the last 48hrs prior to class,only
in such a case, a handout will be mailed to you.
- Funkaar doesnot give complimentary handouts for cancelled or unregistered classes.
- Handouts are provided as a supplement to the lecture. Students are expected to take personal notes during lecture to reinforce the information delivered by the instructor.
- Students are not provided transcript or summary of lecture notes after class.
- Copies of instructor personal notes will not be provided to the students. Continous requests or debates for instructor notes will result in being barred from future classes.

- By registering on-line for
our READY courses, you agree to NOT sell, share, distribute, post or
advertise Funkaar Studios handouts or mock exams.
- Audio and Video taping of courses is strickly prohibited.
- Posting of class content or notes is strickly prohibited (specifically on public forums)

Claims/Personal Property or Injury Policy |
|
|
- Funkaar Studios is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items in relation to class attendance or registration.
- It is the attendees responsibility to secure personal laptops, bags, handouts, etc.
- Funkaar Studios in not responsible for personal injury while attending or in relation to our classes. Students should carry proper health insurance.
- Power for personal laptops provided through US standard wall outlets in each classroom. Please ensure your computer is designed to handle standard US voltage.
- Laptops are used as teaching aids in some classes. Funkaar Studios is not responsible for personal laptop loss of power or operation. The Instructor will continue lecture if power to laptops in not available due to unforseen conditions. You are expected to take notes if you cannot power your laptop. Attendees are not granted refund or free repeat classes due to loss of power.
- By registering online, students agree not to hold Funkaar Studios liable for personal property, injury, expenses and schedules in relation to class attendance or registration.
- Customer shall indemnify and defend Funkaar Studios, its instructors, agents and affiliates from any third party claim or liability arising from class registration.
- Funkaar Studios holds no responsibility for exam availability or exam fees or exam change fees as administered by a third party (NCARB, Prometric, USGBC, GBCI). We simply recommend a testing schedule. It is the student's responsibility to confirm exam availability and errors in schedule prior to exam registration.
- If you have filed a claim for a class already attended or have a past due balance with us, new or future registration funds will be applied towards this outstanding balance. Remainder registrations will be refunded and you will be barred from future attendance if the claim is not removed by you within 10 days of claim filing.
- Return of funds due to credit card fraudulant claims will incur claim processing fees and late fees due to non-payment.
- All claims are required to be filed with Funkaar Studios headquarters in Sacramento, Ca.
- Student signature serves as legal proof of attendance and agreement to our policies. Students will be charged with litigation costs incurred on Funkaar Studios, instructors and agents due to claims.

Indemnification |
|
|
- By registration online, students agree to not hold Funkaar Studios, instructors, consultants, teaching assistants, representatives or agents liable for third party claims.
- Funkaar Studios' instructors, consultants, teaching assistants, representatives or agents are indemnified against claims filed against the company.
|
Rules of Conduct Policy |
|
|
- Funkaar Studios reserves the right to refuse service or products.
- We expect professional behavior
during class or through any mode of communication with our students or instructors.
- Funkaar Studios and our instructors reserve the right to dismiss
or cancel current/future registration for those exhibiting disruptive behavior
on phone, email and during class.
- Violation of this policy also prohibits access to Funkaar out-of-class services including but not limited to: instructor mentoring, response to emails, private tutoring, online mock exams, document download, duplicate handouts, vignette grading, textbooks, or any other requests for services out-of-class.
- Disruptive behavior during class consists of but is not limited to yelling, swearing,
slamming furniture, argumentative behavior, continuous lecture interuptions, continuous debates that delay class content, private conversations, cell phone use, threats or anyother behavior the
instructor deems disruptive to the learning environment.
- Dismissed students do not qualify for a refund for that class day after receiving benefits of handouts and partial lecture.
- It is your responsibility to carry a Paypal receipt as proof of registration. Any display of anger due to failure to provide a Paypal receipt will result in dismissal from class indefinitely.
- Students must leave class peacefully if ordered by the instructor. Security is always available
to remove any disruptive student out of class.
- To maintain classroom peace, we ask peaceful students not to interfere if disciplinary action is being taken towards an unruly student. Let us handle it!
- Textbook recitation is not part of our classes. Textbooks are used for home study. The instructor should not be expected to recite the textbook or make references to books during class.
- Copies of instructor's personal notes WILL NOT be provided to the students.
- Students are only allowed access to campus facilites during class hours. These include: classroom, toilets, vending machines or cafeteria. Students may not use classrooms after or before hours for study groups or for personal use. Students are not allowed to use Funkaar rental office copiers or computers.
- We take threats of defamation of character, slander, posting of copyright
material, etc seriously. You will be immediately barred from classes if you make threats.
